Fire Door Installations

Fire doors installed by Checkmate Fire Solutions who are 3rd Party Accredited under the BRE LPCB scheme LPS 1271

Checkmate are 3rd Party Accredited installers under the BRE / LPCB scheme LPS 1271. Clients can be assured that all fire doors are installed in accordance with the fire door manufacturer's fixing instructions and test reports to ensure that they will perform as required and intended in a fire situation.

3rd party accredited, fully compliant, fire doors can be sourced and specified to meet a range of requirements in terms of usage and fire rating. Fire doors in medium to severe usage locations such as cross corridors and stairwells may require a higher specification than for light duty doors such as those found on service riser cupboards. We are happy to discuss specifications with clients in order to maximise cost effectiveness and reduce potential long term maintenance and associated costs.

Installing a fire door isn't like hanging an ordinary door. You MUST get it right otherwise property and lives will be at risk. ALWAYS check the manufacturer's instructions to make sure you have the correct components to fit to the door. DON'T take risks. This video (Courtesy of The British Woodworking Federation) will help.
