Management and Maintenance of Fire Dampers in NHS Hospitals
Checkmate is pleased to announce that our fire damper inspection, maintenance and installation services are now undertaken under LPCB guidance. (At present there is no LPCB / BRE recognised standard certification for the survey and maintenance of existing fire dampers).

All inspections and fire damper maintenance works are carried out adhering to LPCB / BRE guidance protocols. All new fire damper installations are covered by an LPCB Certificate of Conformity as proof that it has been carried out to a universally recognised standard.

Checkmate is currently busy in meeting the demand for such services in NHS hospitals, who were recently reminded in an Estates and Facilities Alert on the need to manage and maintain fire dampers in compliance with Article 17 of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
