Fire Compliance Surveys & Reports

fire compliance audits
To meet the legal requirements of the RRO, building owners and occupiers must ensure that the fire compartmentation in their buildings is robust and being adequately managed and maintained. To satisfy this need Checkmate offers a range of Compliance Survey and Reports tailored to the client’s unique circumstance and priorities.

Fire Wall Technology

Fire Compliance Audits using real time technology

Using bespoke technology, our qualified installers and surveyors record the required essential details, which could be defects to an existing fire wall or what is contained within a newly installed fire seal. This information can thereafter be used to identify future remediation or aftercare needs for the wall, a legal requirement to comply with Article 17 of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

Fire Door Technology

Our unique FiredoorCheck process creates a fire door schedule to enable ongoing ‘suitable and sufficient’ inspections, another requirement of the RRO. Please visit the FDC website for more information.

Fire Compliance Surveys

As a part of their on-going commitment to maintain high standards of fire safety, Warrington and Halton NHS Trust have appointed Checkmate to carry out an inspection of fire walls and fire doors and to undertake any required upgrades to fire stopping across the Halton Hospital site. Checkmate’s site management team worked closely with hospital staff at all levels to ensure that the project was completed with no disruption to the normal operation of the hospital.

“Checkmate have worked for the Trust for a number of years and we find them very professional, competent and user friendly. With their real-time technology they supply us with a complete, cost-effective survey and installation package, which greatly helps us to retain fire compliance".
